Unguided Wisconsin turkey hunting packages include 2-day, 2-night for $500/person, $800 for a pair of hunters, or $300 additional for a 3 rd hunter. This includes 2 nights of lodging at the Extreme Driftless off-grid cabin, as well as private land access to 50 acres of prime turkey hunting ground, bordering on 500 acres of land-locked State land. With a limited number of birds harvested each year, we are able to manage these birds and give our hunters an excellent opportunity to harvest a mature tom turkey. These birds are only hunted in the spring and not in the fall in order to keep the pressure at a minimum.

 

Hunters are expected to prepare for vast and varying terrain and changing weather conditions. Gear you should expect to bring includes: hunting blind, firearm, ammo, camouflage face mask or paint, camouflage clothing, rain gear, and appropriate footwear.

 

Field dressing is to be done by the hunter. Information on local taxidermists will be provided upon request. This is a fair-chase hunt, which means you are hunting all wild game animals and must follow Wisconsin DNR regulations and licensing. You will need a Wisconsin turkey permit, Wisconsin State turkey stamp, and spring turkey harvest authorization tag. Prices are $15 for a resident license, $5.25 for a turkey stamp, and $15 for an authorization tag. For non-residents, it is $60 for a license. The rest remains the same. Licenses can be purchased at the Wisconsin DNR website.
