Are Adventure Tours Safe?
Adventure activities by nature have inherent risks involved, we do our best to ensure that our guests have a fun and safe time. We craft each tour to your specific comfort/skill level. We also strive to maintain any and all safety guidelines.
What is the average group size for your trips?
The average group size varies from individuals to multi-person groups, depending on the activity. A good group size is usually 2-4 people.
What equipment do I need to bring?
Great question! Depending on the guided tour/adventure you choose, there may be certain equipment needed. We will notify you well in advance with the list of equipment and other helpful items to bring. We will also let you know what equipment is included.
Where do we meet?
Meeting spots will vary depending on activity and will be determined in advance to allow for preparation. You will receive an itinerary in advance of your event.
What if I get ill on the trip and/or are unable to continue?
If you or one of your group cannot finish your adventure, depending on what activity you are doing, we'll provide speedy transportation back to the rendezvous location and a percentage of the adventure cost may be refunded.
What is the cancellation policy?
We reserve the right to cancel a tour for any reason. Customer will receive a full refund if the tour is cancelled by Extreme Driftless Tours. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee.

Our main goal is to give our clients an unforgettable, worry-free experience, adding thoughtful, unexpected touches to special moments. We go to great lengths to find the absolute best properties available, carefully selecting hotels, lodges, and air bnbs that not only meet our standards but also reflect the culture and the energy of the Driftless area. When it comes to meals, we understand that “fine dining” does not mean choosing the restaurant that has the most Yelp reviews. That is why the Extreme Driftless team will recommend the best local eateries for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.
